For Readers at the Kindergarten-2nd Grade Level

Workshop Overview: This one day workshop provides elementary educators, supporting students reading at K-2nd grade levels, with resources to deliver differentiated, small group structured literacy instruction. 

Structured Literacy Routines: The course embeds pre-planned lessons from the Decoding Duo manuals. These 20 minute structured literacy lessons can be delivered in small groups or individual tutorials and offer evidence--based instruction for students at-risk for dyslexia. provide the perfect accompaniment to popular decodable books.

Select the Manual for the Appropriate Book Series. Complimentary Decoding Duo manuals, including all lesson materials, are included in the cost of the trainings. Teachers can choose a manual for the: 

• Half Pint Level A Readers (Kindergarten/Early First Reading Level)
• Dandelion Launchers Stages 8-15 (Mid-First Grade Reading Level)
• Dandelion Launchers Set 1 (Second Grade  Reading Level)

For Readers at the 3rd - 5th Grade Level 

This graduate course provides elementary educators, supporting students reading at 3rd-5th grade levels, with resources to deliver differentiated, small group structured literacy instruction. 

The course utilizes a lesson template that focuses on:

• Multisyllabic words
• Prefixes, suffixes & roots
• Vocabulary 
• Grammatical instruction

Participants will be taught how to plan 15 minute lessons that offer students practice with single word, phrase, sentence and passage reading.
