These digital manuals offer a set of structured literacy routines to accompany popular decodable texts* (K - 1st grade reading level) and are intended to simultaneously develop oral language and word recognition skills for students learning or developing their English proficiency.

Each lesson begins by building vocabulary and syntactic knowledge using words from the text. Targeted activities then develop phonemic awareness,  phonics, fluency and comprehension skills - strategically preparing students to read the decodable text with confidence and understanding.
