Overview. This in-depth three credit graduate course offers a comprehensive look essential for understanding assessment and instructional practices for students with dyslexia. Participants will learn to identify the signs early, interpret key assessment data, and implement targeted, effective instruction. Grounded in the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework, this course provides a step-by-step guide to navigating tiered literacy interventions.
Course Duration. 45 hours (3 Graduate Credits) organized into 6 self-guided modules
Access to Self-Guided Coursework. The summer session course begins on July 1, 2026, and all coursework must be completed by September 30, 2026.
- Modules 1 - 4: Completed through self-guided coursework.
- Module 5: Live Session (attendance mandatory), August 6th, 9am - 3pm EST
- Module 6-9: Completed through self-guided coursework.

Graduate Credit (3) is available through Gordon College for an additional fee of $225. Participants enrolled in graduate credit will need to complete one additional assignment outside of required coursework. Partial graduate credits will not be awarded.
